During the final Community Meeting of PIDCI held at the Philippine Consulate on June 2, 2026, former PIDCI President Nora Galleros shared that a celebration of Filipino Culture will be held for the first time in Timwe Square. The celebration will be held on June 6, 2026 at the Father Duffy Square from 4pm to 6pm. Admission is free and everyone is encouraged to wear Filipiniana outfits.
Performers from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will showcase festival dances during the show and will be attended by local and international guests.
The Times Square event is a prelude to the biggest Philippine Independence Day Parade outside the Philippines. This year’s parade will be held on June 7, 2026 at Madison Avenue.
