The Press Presentation of the 2025 Miss Philippines Earth Pageant was held at the posh Lotus Ballroom of the Lime Hotels and Resort last July 22, 2025 despite massive flooding brought about by two low pressure areas. Members of the media and guests came to cover the event and show support for the ladies representing various cities and provinces of the Philippines and Filipino Communities abroad.
During the event, we were sat beside Ms. Loraine Schuck, one of the pillars behind the Miss Philippines Earth and Miss Earth Pageants. We had a nostalgic moment reminiscing about the “early” years of the pageant. “You have to fight for what you believe in and put all your heart in your endeavors.” There were a lot of doubting Thomases when they started in 2001. Some critics also commented that it will never reach two years, but look at where they are now! A quarter of a century producing world class beauties who serve as environmental warriors to champion the cause of environmental protection.
On a personal note, I would like to commend the Miss Philippines Earth Organization for treating us like family. Our group have seen them from the beginning and they have remained the same people. As they reach the Silver Lining, Congratulations and more power to the whole team!
