Despite the frigid weather in the Big Apple, the Fil-Am Communuty flocked to the Bryant Park Loft to witness the Fashion Gala of the 2025 Reina Filipinas North America which featured the creations of New York based designer Bessie Besana.
Bessie featured archive Street wear pieces chosen from different collections that are reminiscent of the works he has done for celebrities and beauty queens. “As many of you know, I started in the beauty pageant industry in the Philippines that is why I support any endeavor involving aspiring queens here in New York! This is the perfect opportunity to collaborate with Dr. Alicia Sta. Maria Almendral and her Reina Filipina North America ladies .”
The show also showcased the pieces worn by Pia Wurtzbach and Chelsea Manalo during the “Marry Ma at Marriott event last July 19 in Manila.
