Joecaner Ranada Orap Jr. was crowned Mister Laoag 2024 recently. This piece of good news was relayed to me by his beaming aunt, Dr. Mariliz Ranada Guerrero Policarpio, a former Mrs. Philippines America and a respected figure here in the Fil-Am Community.
It is interesting to note that beauty truly runs in the family! Joecaner is the great,great grandson of the Philippines’ second National Beauty Queen, Julia Agcaoili, 1909 Manila Carnival Queen!
He will represent the historic province at this yars’s Misters of Filipinas pageant.
