Bessie Besana is an international Fashion Designer and a pageant coach. Having finished with a degree in Civil Engineering back in the Philippines, he pursued this profession for eight years before discovering his passion lies in fashion. During his last year in his corporate job while fulfilling an expat role in Hong Kong for Greater China, he decided to pack his bags, go back to the Philippines, and enrolled himself in a fashion school. While in school, he started working for his first few clients, who happened to be his family and friends, which led him to work with some of the biggest stylists and celebrities in the Philippines. He has dressed Sarah Geronimo, Toni Gonzaga. Pia Wurtzbach and Jodi Sta. Maria to name a few, has graced the covers of Mega Magazine and Wedding Essentials Magazine. He was also a constant fixture at the Philippines’ premier fashion event, Manila Fashion Festival.
During his spare time he was also active in the pageant industry in the Philippines and was a founding member of the very successful training camp Aces & Queens which has produced some international queens including Miss International Kylie Versoza, Miss World Megan Young and MIss Universe Pia Wurtzbach. After all the achievements of the team, Bessie moved on and managed the Miss World Philippines pageant until 2018.
Today, Bessie Besana calls the United States his home. He is currently pursuing fashion studies from Parsons in New York and launching his brand in the USA in 2022.
