On the night of February 10, 2018, Katrina Dimaranan was walking for Bessie Besana’s finale for Manhattan Fashion Week here in New York. I bumped into her before the show started and took the opportunity to interview her. I asked her if she still wanted to compete in a pageant and she immediately replied that given the chance, she would like to Represent the Philippines at Miss Universe! During that time her only option was to compete at the state level for Miss USA….
