Arise Mindanao is a promotional program by the Dalsaka Foundation Inc. Based in General Santos City. Dalsaka stands for “Dalan sa Kalambuan” which translates to “The Road to Progress” and the organization aims to showcase the different native crafts and fabrics of Blaan, T’boli and Maguindanao tribes of the Socksargen Region neo-ethnic fashion as interpreted by Minndanao Designer Feliciano “Jun” Ador. Bringing the program into the international arena through the auspices of Socksargen USA Inc., hoping to open the possibility of livelihood to crafting communities of the aforementioned tribes through supply production as well as promoting the art of the Southern Philippines to the world.
