I had the opportunity to touch base with Anthea Robles, Bb. Pilipinas-International 1988 recently. The New York based beauty queen shared her experience during the pandemic.
‘I was diagnosed with Cpvid 19 during the height of the pandemic last March 2020. I was advised to rest at home and in case my condition worsens, I have to get hospitalized. I prayed so hard to God that I would be able to survive this trial. During that time, we only had a little knowledge about this virus, when I recovered, I started donating plasma during a donation drive by the City. It is my only way of thanking the Lord for giving me another chance at life.o
She also shared with us that she has a new venture, bb. bingka ” it just started randomly, my friends loved my cooking and they suggested that I should start marketing my bibingka. I make sure I use the freshest ingredients every time. It comes in a variety of flavors that will remind you of home, Among the top favorites are Salted egg and cheese, Ube- Macapuno , Banana/Langka and Buko.
